I began enamelling about 18  years ago and it remains my main focus.  The attraction of the beautiful colours both transparent and opaque are obvious but what I enjoy most is the many techniques available to the artist in the process of fusing the enamel with the metal base.   Enamelling has so much to explore including finding the most suitable technique for a chosen subject.    Moving from one technique to another enhances experience of the medium whilst at the same time trying not to destroy continuity of work.
