Mary Stradling

Mary Stradling (BA Hons) says she enjoys being a member of the Clevedon Art Club, meeting like-minded people and attending the art lectures, workshops, and especially the painting days.

Her work includes palette-knife oil painting, watercolour and textiles. She takes inspiration from the Somerset countryside, and also the seaside where she lives. She loves to paint 'plein air' exploring mark-making, often using stitch and print in conjunction with paint. Mary exhibits with the 'South West Textile Group' of which she is a member and also other exhibitions including the Bath open.
