An exciting day exploring wet-in-wet watercolour with Catherine Beale SWA
An opportunity for painters who really want to let loose in watercolour!
Catherine will be explaining how brush control and a steeply tilted surface can coax paint around lily pads. Allow mysterious watermarks to develop as you learn to control drying watercolour - perfect for this watery subject! Catherine will guide you through her ‘painting life-cycle’ in a sequence of demonstrations - from composition and planning whites, to embracing drips, developing areas of strong tone, colour choices and more. The session will end with a review and troubleshooting techniques to take home.
