A Community of Artists for more than 65 years

Workshops and Classes are fun and informative. We invite fabulous, renowned artists to come and demonstrate their techniques and show us their approach to different media on a variety of subjects.

Workshop sessions usually take place in the Art Room at Clevedon School, BS21 6AH and there are 14 places available.

Location; The art room is right around the back of the Main School Building in the second from last carpark. The building is signed ART and is up 5 steps on the right as you approach.

Workshops are held once a month, usually on the third Saturday of the month, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Cost: £40 for members for the day; £50 for non-members.
N.B.- refunds are not available for cancellations.
The best bit is you get to meet the artist and share in their enthusiasm and passion for their work!

‘Good Foundation’ classes usually take place in the Art Room at Clevedon School and there are 14 places available.

Classes are held once a month, usually on a Saturday to be advised, from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
Cost: £22 for members; £27 for non-members (everyone is welcome!).

Bring your own drinks or a cup. No hot drinks provided at these sessions.

We think of coloured pencils as being something only children use, however, with a few hints and tips on mark making Tina will show you how different colours can be layered together to create artistic drawings with depth, interest and some surprising results.....

Pencil and rubber
A set of coloured pencils
Sketchpad or cartridge paper
Drawing board if you have one

and either...

Some fruit and veg - red onions, apples, bananas or patterned squashes make good subjects

or...

Pictures of flowers, birds or landscapes to work from.
