Screen Printing for All; an experimental hands-on day of printing fun with lots of colour and enthusiasm!
In this workshop at Print Works, you will quickly set up your screens using hand-cut paper stencils, learn to mix ink, and get your registration right! Tracy will help us print a series of experimental prints, encouraging us to think about layers and ink colours as we go.
The Print Works will provide everything including a range of images that you can take inspiration from if you wish…or bring your own!
If there is enough time we will also have a go at painting through your screen to create one off, expressive and painterly screen prints.
You will leave the session with an understanding of simple screen printing and lots of prints on paper. No experience necessary. All materials and equipment is provided. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron as it can get messy!
This session is being run in Banwell at ‘Print Works’ Weston as they have a great studio to get messy in!
